Yay! I came back to Istanbul. Georgia obviously gave up on the war. They want an armistice unlike Russia. I don't think Russia's gonna stop. More than 1500 civillians were dead though Russia said they don't kill the civillians
. I just want it to stop. Here's a small part of a translated Turkish article by Sedat Sertoğlu(Akşam gazetesi)What would happen is Georgia wants to become a part of Turkey?...(Don't be shocked, it's not impossible, just read it)
What would happen if Saakasvili says " So you guys(Russians) want South Ossetia? Ok then take it. And we'll become a part of Turkey so NATO will be right next to you." to Russia?
In 1930 s there used to be a group of people called "Mergel-Lazs". They had their own newspapers and alphabeth. Stalin wanted them to be in the Soviet Union. So he killed the their leaders. Closed their newspapers and forced so many Mergel-Lazs to go to Kazakhstan. And he called all it " a primitive culture being smoothed by a big culture" In Soviet Union, this fear became alivce again in 1950 s. They were so scared to be like them. In case Georgians would like to join Turkey, governmet had to provide it...
I just said "what if". But if it really happened, that would be quite strange, ha? I juts thought to myself loudly...
